I'm Kaleb Warnock
an American multimedia storyteller and communications professional based in Vienna.
I began experimenting with photography in a homemade darkroom in my parents’ mouldy basement on a borrowed enlarger. I continued shooting through school until I took a break to study music, and later, diplomacy. I found my way back into photography when I began my professional career and have been working as a multimedia storyteller since 2015. I’ve been on assignment around the world, but my favorite locations by far have been Central Africa, Myanmar and Italy.
I’ve worked for nearly 8 years as a communications professional and multimedia storyteller in international organizations, including the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) and various consultancy work.
I also regularly give trainings on documentary photography, documentation and participatory photography for field teams, communications professionals and monitoring and evaluation experts. I use various methods, including the Photovoice methodology.
I'm a graduate of the Lik Academy für Photo and Design, the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and Iowa State University. I shoot on Leica, Nikon, Canon and Fujifilm. I speak German and Russian.
I am temporarily based in Iceland, but still open for work. Feel free to write me.
